Whenever a small film doesn’t get enough theaters for release, ‘Aa Naluguru’ of Tollywood are blamed for ruling the industry by holding the theaters in their hands. Dil Raju said that there is no such domination possible in the present scenario.
“Once upon a time, average films used to land producers in the safe zone. But, everything has changed presently. An average film also means a loss to the producer. 30% loss for the average film and 50% on a flop film,” analyses Dil Raju on the present business trend in the film industry.
Speaking on the domination of the four big names in Tollywood, Dil Raju said that those days were gone and presently, big production companies like Cinépolis, PVR, Satyam, Ero etc from Mumbai had taken over and they aren’t available for us to ask about their domination. Hence, those four are still said to be dominating whereas the truth remains to be otherwise. Well, Dil Raju’s analyses come from his vast experience in the industry.
