Nithya Menon is busy juggling between her acting and singing skills. While she proved her acting prowess in films such as Ishq, Anwar and Sega, she proved to be a singer irrespective of the language in films such as Jabardasth and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde.
The young actress apparently sang a song in the Telugu version of 22 Female Kottayam along with actors such as Kovai Sarla and Vidyullekha Raman. The song was recorded recently in Hyderabad, and insiders say that the song has come out really well.
Nithya Menon is one of the rare actresses who take the effort to dub and even sing in other languages. How many actresses even dub in their own voice for their role in films in other languages, especially north Indian actresses in the south.
Nithya despite being a Malayali has learnt Telugu to sing and even dub in the language. I think other actresses should take some inspiration from her.
