‘Lie’ opened up to mixed talk among the audiences but the film is really running decently despite competition from the other two movies. Nithin opened up about the negative talk during the ‘Thank You Meet’ and agreed that he heard the negative talk.
Common audiences’ response was very low on the release day, but the film slowly started picking up and by Sunday, the common audiences’ response has improved explained Nithin. Nithin thanked the common audiences for slowly accepting the movie.
When he heard the initial mixed talk, along with director Hanu Raghavapudi he was worried thinking their one-year hard work didn’t reach the audience. Since this is a new concept, audiences are taking their time to accept it opined Nithin.
Nithin was honest enough to accept that this film might or might not turn out to be a successful movie but such new concepts and directors like Hanu are needed for the industry. Let’s hope Nithin’s hard work pays off.
