Trailer Talk: Promising Intrigue, And Suspense And Importantly Raises Expectations
After a long wait (from the summer), we finally have something more on Anushka’s Nishabdham. A new theatrical trailer is out, and it bears open its premise. It comes across as perfect for the OTT medium and could enthral the audience all over. It raises expectations.
As we all are aware, Nishabdham is a thriller, and the trailer hits all the right notes to enhance the appeal. It reveals enough to intrigue, but at the same time does well not to let it out entirely. In these days it would be a sacrilege to do the latter, and Nishabdham makers do a fine job with it.
Looking at the trailer, it definitely looks like the various artists who are part of the movie have something significant to do. The mood and overall tone seem consistent. The dubbing aspect and few cliches look a bit awkward, in parts, but the terrific background score makes up for it. Gopi Sunder is the music director, and he sure will have his task cut out as far as the expectations are considered.
Anushka and Madhavan look good together, and they seem to be the backbone of the proceedings. The former is seen doing something she has never done before. Madhavan, as always, could give a huge surprise if the script offers him the meat. There were previously allegations that a Spanish thriller inspired the movie, but the dust seems to be settled now.

Nishabdham arrives on Amazon Prime Video on October 2nd. Off late, a lot of biggies have been disappointing the viewers. Will Anushka arriving after more than two years with Nishabdham break the trend? Let’s wait and watch.
