NikhilYoung Telugu hero Nikhil is on a high after the smashing success of Karthikeya 2 in the pan Indian belt. He has lined up consecutive pan Indian projects now.

Nikhil’s next film, Spy is based on the disappearance of Netaji Subhash Chandrabose and the subsequent suspense pertaining to the same. Then there’s the recently announced India House which is a pre-Independence film set in London.

He has now announced a new film that is set in pre historic army backdrop. This is again a pan Indian film. And then there’s Karthikeya 3.

On paper, this looks like a dream lineup with so many pan Indian films that have a wide appeal.

But the issue here is that these films almost fall under similar category. They’re mostly based on real incidents that cater to larger section of Indians. This is a conscious effort to reach more market.

But with this, Nikhil runs the risk of turning monotonous with all his films looking very serious. There’s no lighter or breather film between these pan Indian attempts. It has to be seen how Nikhil will tackle this particular challenge.
