Nithiin, who has had two back to back hits- ‘Ishq’ and ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde’, seemed slowed down by Puri’s ‘Heart Attack’ and his long delayed on-sets film ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’. The actor will be next seen in Karunakaran’s direction where he’ll be romancing the Bengali newbie Mishti. The film will go on floors by the next month. Talking about her co-star, actress Mishtisaid that she had already heard a lot about Nithiin and is quite kicked up to have an opportunity to share screen-space with him. The actress is famous for her role in Subhash Ghai’s Bollywood movie ‘Kaanchi’ and has made the commitment to do two more films for him.
While Subhash Ghai is known for renaming heroines who star in his films with names starting with ‘M’, the reason for her name being Mishti has nothing to do with that. It has been her nickname since her childhood and her real name is Indrani.
Director Karunakaran, whose last film ‘Endhukante Premanta’ with Ram turned out to be a dud, is hoping to get back on track with his next movie with Nithiin and Mishti. Let’s hope that Karunakaran, who is known to take his own sweet time before committing to a project, will get a hit with this film.
