In a time when most of the southern films are beings shot in big cities like Delhi and Mumbai and many southern actors are migrating to Bollywood, a new trend has begun in B-town making things go the other way round. While movies like ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Madras Café’ are in queue to release, as the names suggest, Bollywood films are going the South way.

Director and choreographer Prabhu Deva, who is also an actor and dancer, expresses his views on the topic saying change is always required and it’s a good thing that Hindi film industry is exploring the south. He also said that since nowadays movies are being across industries it makes people want to discover each other’s work-zone.

Another reason for this trend to begin could be the simple fact that it is easier to get permissions to exotic locations for shooting. Whatever it may be, it seems to be working and the audience is really excited about these movies.
