Looks like the controversies surrounding Kamal Hassan’s Viswaroopam DTH Release idea are not going to die any sooner. With the distributors’ fears in tact, it is now the turn of Cable operators across the state threatening Kamal. They argue that this idea of Kamal would pursue people to switch to DTH and will cause damage to the traditional cable operators.

Tamil Nadu Cable TV operators Association had warned Kamal Hassan that if he goes up with his idea, then they would show the movie free of cost to the audiences. In a press statement Tamil Nadu Cable TV Operators Association President Kayal R.S.Elavarasu said that some producers are making false propaganda to make their movies successful and Kamal Hassan’s ‘Viswaroopam’ is one among them. He also said it is not true that the movie cannot be downloaded and challenged Kamal Hassan that he would show him by downloading the movie.
