New releases this week have proved to be disastrous at box office. What this means is Oopiri will again be the number one pick of the audience this weekend as well.
Attack directed by Ram Gopal Varma starring Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj and Savitri starring Nara Rohit were the two new releases. Among the two the former had the worse opening while the latter was better it still was bad. Nara Rohit’s last release Tuntari, which itself had poor opening, took better opening in comparison.
Oopiri which slowed down during the weekdays got the advantage and has picked up considerably and looking at another solid weekend.
