Netflix Making Telugu Hero Work 12 Hours Per DayIt is known that Daggubati duo – Venkatesh and Rana are making their OTT debut with Rana Naidu, an action drama series that is being funded by OTT giant, Netflix.

When M9.news caught up with Rana today, he opened up about this project.

“Working on this OTT project hasn’t been anything like what I’ve done till now. We are working 12 hour shifts – 9 AM to 9 PM. The filming process is also much more disciplined than we are accustomed to down South.” Rana says.

Usually, film shoots in Hyderabad go on for 8-9 hours. Also, mainstream stars enjoy great comfort while on sets. But that doesn’t appear to be the case with Netflix’s working model.

Adding further, Rana said “I usually experiment around with my projects and Babai(Venkatesh) usually picks remake subjects which are safe bets. But this Netflix project is in a completely different zone for both of us. It has been a crazy experience, working on something like this. I can’t speak much about this project now as I’ve signed a 20-page contract with Netflix and I can’t flout any of these clauses.”

Rana Naidu is an adaption of English crime drama series, Ray Donovan. The series is directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma.
