Nayanthara got hitched to her longtime boyfriend, Vignesh Shivan a few days ago. Netflix bagged the telecast rights of the marriage.
The OTT major had borne all the expenses of the marriage to get them.
From the last couple of days, there were rumors that Netflix has sent a notice to Nayanthara to pay up the 25 Crore they spent on the marriage.
The reports said Nayan and Vignesh breached the contract by releasing their wedding pics against the terms and conditions. So, the OTT major is walking away from the deal claiming the damages worth 25 Crore.
While these rumors spread like a wildfire, Netflix gave an indirect clarification.
They simply posted a tweet about Netflix having the rights meaning that there is no truth in those rumors.
“These images of Nayanthara and Vignesh have us seeing stars ✨ BRB, we’re doing a little happy dance ourselves because THEY’RE coming to Netflixit’s beyond a fairy tale!!,” Netflix India wrote on Twitter.
