It comes as a surprise that filmmaker Maruthi is yet to confirm Nayanthara opposite Venkatesh for upcoming film Radha, which will go on floors after Kotha Janta. In fact, Maruthi has second thoughts about Nayanthara as he feels she may be old for Venky, and he actually wants rope in someone younger.
Maruthi said that Nayanthara is a busy actress and she is too old for Venky. The duo has done two films together and maybe the audience will get bored if they happen to see them again together on screen. Moreover, she has recently signed a film with Simbu in Tamil, and therefore, will get extremely busy with that project.
One of the other reasons why Maruthi is not keen to rope in Nayanthara is because of her high remuneration. Radha will go on floors Deb 20, while Allu Sirish-starrer Kotha Janta will release on Valentine’s Day next year.
