Actress Nayanthara has a lot on her schedule currently with upcoming projects belonging to Tamil, Telugu as well as Malayalam films. Her upcoming films in Kollywood include Vishnuvardhan’s untitled film starring Ajith, Raja Rani andIdhu Kathirvelan Kadhal while her comeback into Tamil cinema includes working on a few films.
Meanwhile Nayanthara was also offered an item number in Bollywood’s top director Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Chennai Express’ which features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone and tells the story of a man’s journey from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens along the way.
Nayanthara, being popular in all four southern film industries received the enticing offer but she turned it down. Although the reasons have not yet been disclosed, it is believed that the actress doesn’t want to make her Bollywood debut with an item number.
