Abburi Lavanya’s body was found lying in a pond on Wednesday near the A & M University Research Station Farm, Alabama. She hails from Narasaraopet, Andhra Pradesh who has enrolled herself for PhD programme in molecular biology, the plant and soil science program in 2014.
After the first postmortem report & forensic tests nothing conspicious was found about Abburi Lavanya’s death and further tests are needed to be done to find out the cause of her death. To be near the pond was very common for her because she conducted her agricultural research at the pond regularly.
While the university is planning a tribute to Lavanaya, asking prayers for her family in India and cooperating with the investigators, her parents in Narasaraopet are grief stricken and are in unexplainable condition over the loss of their daughter.
