The teaser of Victory Venkatesh’s Narappa is out, and it has received a positive response. It has garnered over two and a half million views in less than twenty-four hours. It also indirectly settles a debate. But, the same has given rise to another one.
The first thing on everyone’s mind was whether Venkatesh would be suitable for the role. The posters did give us clarity, but then Srikanth Addala directing it led to many doubts. The teaser out now gives a thumping answer.
The other thing that has become a hot topic now is how well Venkatesh would suit the ‘younger’ part. To those who are now aware of the original, the role of Venkatesh will have two variations – the older one is what we have seen. There is a couple of decade’s young part, as well.
The question on everyone’s mind is can Venkatesh pull the ‘younger’ part or not. The older role was never under doubt if there is a capable director handling it.
We can know about it only when the movie nears completion. So far the younger portions are reportedly not shot.
Srikanth Addala returns to direction after a long gap with Narappa. Priyamani is paired opposite him in the film. Mani Sharma provides the music to the drama laced with action. Narappa is expected to have an early summer 2021 release.
