Natural Star Nani has established himself well in the industry as a bankable actor with a decent market for his films. The actor has worked with new-age directors to the ones from the old school like Mohan Krishna Indraganti to Nag Ashwin to Gautham Vasudev Menon to the latest Vivek Athreya.
He has worked with all of them, but then Nani has an unfulfilled wish which still looms large on him. The actor wishes to work under Mani Ratnam’s direction. While Nani yearns to work with him, he believes it will happen if the right time comes.
Meanwhile, the ace filmmaker has given some of the best films, but currently, he is in a bad phase where even the noted stars aren’t keen to collaborate. But, with Nani evincing interest in him, it would be interesting to watch out for.
On the work front, Nani is awaiting the release of his family drama – Tuck Jagadish on Amazon Prime Video. The film is getting released on September 10 as Vinayaka Chavithi Special. The film made a lot of jostle among the producers and exhibitors which left Nani to face the burning heat.
With Tuck Jagadish it will be Nani’s second direct-to-OTT release after V. The period drama Shyam Singha Roy is in the post-production process and has plans to hit screens this December. Currently, Nani has Vivek Athreya’s Ante Sundaraniki.
