Well, it appears like a formality as of now for Nani to claim the number 1 position in the second league of stars. There actually is no competition and here’s why?
Nani already has two biggest opening days occupying the second and third positions respectively. Based on the reception for MCA trailer, it looks like all set to take the first place. The point right now is not the position where the opening lands, it is Nani is marching ahead with great charge whereas others are struggling even with a decent combination.
In the long run, Nani has the highest share for the first week in Telugu states and has another one at third place. When we look at worldwide figures, he has two films in top three. No one else is near to him, and the one movie that is at the top had an extraordinary word of mouth unlike the films of Nani. With MCA, even if it gets average talk, Nani is sure to add another one to the list.
Another critical element is the directors that Nani is working with are relatively unknown names or unproven talents. Combining all three factors, here we have a star who has openings, long run, and is getting them without the help of combinations. Isn’t that an ideal material for the number 1 slot?
Earlier it looked like 2018 would seal the deal, but given how things change dramatically every Friday, it seems like Nani will be at the top by the end of 2017 itself.
