Nani - Tuck JagadishNani’s Tuck Jagadish which premiered on Amazon Prime Video garnered negative word of mouth. Several trolls related to the Nani starrer have surfaced on the internet and it is being termed a damp squib.

Netizens are trolling Tuck Jagadish, saying there are so many unwanted characters in the story that it is hard to keep count of them.

Ahead of Tuck Jagadish’s Amazon Prime premieres, Nani created hungama, saying the film was conceived with the theatrical experience in mind and it is unfortunate that it is premiering on OTT.

Well, it is unclear if Nani misjudged Tuck Jagadish or if he tried to be smart.

After watching the final cut of the film, Nani, being a seasoned and experienced actor should have certainly understood that it wouldn’t strike a chord with the audience. If he felt otherwise, it could be a gross misjudgment and he needs to self introspect.

The other scenario is that he might have tried to play it smart after knowing the film wouldn’t get the best of responses. He already had a direct to OTT release, V. If his second consecutive film, Tuck Jagadish too headed the OTT way, he would have faced backlash from the exhibition sector and his fans alike.

So, Nani might have tried to outsmart everyone by taking a pro theatrical stand. He should have foreseen Tuck Jagadish’s result and felt OTT is the only saving grace.

But to avoid backlash from fans and exhibitors, he should have spoken about the theatrical release, knowing full well that the film will head the OTT way.

Did Nani misjudge Tuck Jagadish’s result or did he try to play it smart by taking the pro theatrical stand in order to avoid backlash? Only he can answer the question.
