The theatrical trailer of Natural Star Nani’s Gang Leader is out. It clears all the confusion regarding the story with at one stroke. It is a thriller with a revenge angle with the caveat being the meta-angle of it being written by a writer on-screen.
The writer angle brings a fresh perspective to the whole thing. It once again highlights Vikram Kumar’s creative genius of coming with unique story ideas. However, Gang Leader might be his least display of creativity story-wise as similar (not same) plots have occurred in the past involving a writer. Very recently, we had Kathanam, whose core could be said very near.
Moving beside the plot, there is enough glimpse of the entertainment in store. The casting looks fabulous, and the presence of Karthikeya gives the whole thing a little edge. Nani and Karthikya pitted against each other also add to the excitement.
Check out the trailer below. Priyanka Arul Mohan is the heroine in the movie opposite Nani. Apart from them, there is a lovable extended supporting cast comprising of veterans like Lakshmi and Saranya Mohan. Anirudh Ravichander has provided the catchy music.
