Didn’t Watch Majili, Can’t Comment on It!

Nani - Didn't Watch Majili, Can't Comment on It!Both ‘Majili’ and Nani’s upcoming movie ‘Jersey‘ have one thing in common and that is the cricket backdrop. This led to the rumours that there might be similarities. Chay’s ‘Majili’ came out first and turned out to be a blockbuster with subtle performances from Chay and his wife, Samantha. It was the first solo 30crore film for Chay.

‘Jersey’ trailer showed Nani as a struggling cricketer and the cricket backdrop is enough. The rumours became unavoidable. What is Nani’s take on this? The natural star didn’t watch ‘Majili’ yet as he was busy with the post-production work of his ‘Jersey’ that is slated to release on 19th April. He wanted to actually watch it on the first day of its release. ‘Majili’ came from the same director, Shiva Nirvana who gave Nani ‘Ninnu Kori’.

The comparisons before the movie’s release are only speculations and once ‘Jersey’ comes into theatres, we’ll actually know if there are any. Either way, Naga Chaitanya had the advantage as his movie came first into the theatres. Nonetheless, the trailer of ‘Jersey’ was quite impressive and very intense. Looking forward to another gripping story, this Summer.
