Natural Star Nani’s Twenty Ninth film has been titled Dasara and will be directed by a newcomer Srikanth Odela. The first look poster of the film is out today on the occasion of Ayudha Pooja and it has come as a massive surprise for fans and the audience.
Nani looks Raw and almost unrecognizable with fully grown hair and thick beard. The movie’s story is set in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines and so, the black tint is used in the posters. One big complaint about Nani is that he plays too safe with his films, characters, and Looks.
Dasara is the first time Nani checks all the boxes and enters the Zone of experimentation. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead in this film. The team also released a video in which a coal train is seen. The folk Bathukamma song at the start of the video and Nani’s dialogue in Telangana slang gives a fresh feeling to the story.
“Ee Dasara Nirudu Lekkundadi… Baanchat… Jammi Vetti Chepthaannaa Baddal Baashingaalaithay… Etlaithe Gatlaithadi… Sooskundaam…” Nani says in typical Telangana slang of Singareni region.
Bathukamma song in the background is perfectly remixed to give mass touch. The content is more than what everyone expected and it will be a different experience altogether to see Nani in such a mass and action-packed role in a story set in a village situated in Singareni Coal Mines in Godavarikhani.
Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Zarina Wahab are the important cast of the film that will have music by Santhosh Narayanan. Sudhakar Cherukuri bankrolls the film.
