Megastar Chiranjeevi vs. Nandamuri Balakrishna has always been a topic of discussion for the last three decades. Their clash at the box office is exciting for the fans and the entire movie fraternity.
If the latest reports are to be believed, then NBK107, directed by Gopichand Malineni, is going to clash with Megastar’s Godfather this Dasara season.
Dasara is considered the next best season after Sankranthi for Tollywood movies, and both much-awaited movies will vie for the audience’s attention.
Balakrishna, after the phenomenal success of Akhanda, has been taking his career seriously and is signing films that will make his fans happy and create an impact at the box office. On the other hand, Chiru has immersed himself in doing remakes which the audience has already relished on OTT platforms.
Nandamuri fans, in particular, desperately want this clash to happen. They feel that Balakrishna’s action-entertainer will crush Megastar’s Godfather at the box office as the former is an original film while the latter is a remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer.
Nandamuri fans also believe that Lucifer is a story that suited Mohanlal, but Chiru might not justify the political overtones in the film due to his failure in real-life politics.
Balakrishna’s Akhanda and Megastar’s Acharya were supposed to clash last year during the Dasara season, but the clash was averted due to COVID and other reasons. If the clash had happened, it would have been another Narasimha Naidu vs. Mrugaraju scenario.
