Vijayawada Municipal Corporation is rolling out the prestigious Free Wi-Fi facility to people. The first phase will give the free facility to the stretch from Benz Circle to Raghavaiah Park from January 1st.
The corporation has awarded the project to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL). This stretch is chosen as it will cover the ever-busy stretch from Benz Circle to Raghavaiah Park on Mahatma Gandhi Road along with Chief Minister’s and the Collector’s camp offices.
Reliance is currently busy identifying the alignment points and is laying cables to roll out the project taken up on a pilot basis. The corporation will also get the wi-fi facility by laying a separate cable. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu will be launching this facility.
