Nagarjuna’s Oopiri which was a great hit in Telugu is now being remade in Hollywood. The film was one of those big hits for Nag where he played the role of the specially-abled millionaire in the film. Vamsi Paidipalli made this film in Telugu which is actually the remake of the french film The Intouchables.
The title of the film in Hollywood is decided to be “The Upside” for which Bryan Cranston is playing Nag’s role and Kevin Hart playing Karthi’s role who is the care taker of the millionaire (Nagarjuna). The film is in the workstation and is expected to release next year.
Nicole Kidman has been chosen for the role of Tamannaah Bhatia, who acted as the Personal Assistant of Nagarjuna in the film. The film did okay in Tamil but was a hit in Telugu as well as the original version of French. Let us see how the film does on the Hollywood screens.
