Nagarjuna Akkineni Thinks Bilingual Is Bad Idea!Nag was one of those few senior heroes who tried improving hus market in the neighbouring States through bilinguals. A few of his super hit movies were bilinguals and he thinks that making bilinguals is a bad idea. Why?

According to Nagarjuna, his blockbuster movies like ‘Shiva’, ‘Geethanjali’ and the most recent ‘Oopiri’ worked well in Telugu but weren’t received well by the Tamil audiences when those movies had a simultaneous release with Tamil versions.

It has become every hero’s dream to do something to improve their market in other states and that’s why we see the makers opting for bilingual movies or sometimes even multi-linguals like Vijay Deverakonda’s ‘Dear Comrade’.

Most of the times, bilinguals didn’t work due to the cultural differences. However, there were some instances like in the case of several Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan’s movies that could surpass the language and cultural barriers. So, Nag is both right and wrong at the same time. What say?
