Akkineni Nagarjuna was having a blast at the box office with continuous hits like Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana, and Oopiri. But then he started trusting new directors or outdated directors and the results were horrendous.
His latest film The Ghost directed by Praveen Sattaru also turned out to be a huge dud. And since then there are speculations about what movie will Nag sign next.
As of now, nothing has been finalized. It seems Nagarjuna is in total introspection mode and this time he doesn’t want to jump on to a project without giving it a proper thought.
Nagarjuna is someone who has delivered some of the most memorable Telugu films. But he cannot rest on his past laurels. A senior star hero will only be remembered by how he ended his career and not how he started. This generation will only see if Nagarjuna ended his career as a hero on a high or not.
It’s good that Nagarjuna is taking time to lock his next project. It would be nice to see him in a mass entertainer with all commercial elements directed by some reputed and talented director.
We just want to remind him that the post-Covid audience has become very ruthless and Nag should keep their tastes in mind before signing his next.
