The second treat of the day for the fans of Akkineni Nagarjuna is out. It is what they have been promised for the past few years. Well, they have it now. King Akkineni Nagarjuna is coming with a prequel to his biggest hit, Soggade Chinni Nayana. It is titled Bangarraju after the character essayed by Nag.
The first look poster is a simple one but lovely and pleasing to look at. It has Nagarjuna donning the traditional ‘Panche Kattu’ style of Telugu people. He wowed with this look in Soggade Chinni Nayana. It seems like he promises to do it again with Bangarraju.
But, more than the look, which was always expected to be good, the finer details are impressive. The caption on the poster – The Devil is Back is one such thing. It means the return of the character of Bangarraju in human form. The coming down from stairs also suggest the same. It basically conveys the prequel idea of the movie and what the movie is all about.
Naga Chaitanya plays the other hero Bangarraju. The father and son duo are coming together after Manam for this village entertainer. Ramya Krishna and Krithi Shetty are the female leads opposite Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya respectively.
Kalyan Krishna directs Bangarraju. Nagarjuna produces the movie on Annapurna Studios banner in association with Zee Studios. Anup Rubens is also on board as the music director. The makers are planning a Sankranthi 2022 release for Bangarraju.
