The Akkinenis are going through one of their worst professional career phases. The Akkineni family’s scions have delivered some of the biggest disasters in recent times.
After disasters like The Wild Dog and The Ghost, Nagarjuna was supposed to start a project with the renowned writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada of Dhamaka fame. The stage was set for its launch, but the film’s announcement was put on hold at the last minute due to reasons best known to the team.
Akhil Akkineni was supposed to start the shoot of UV creations’ next high-budget action entertainer with a debut director. The title and the first-look poster were also ready. But after Agent’s disastrous result, the film’s economics are being reworked, and the rumors suggest that the budget will be cut down. The film stands postponed as of today.
Naga Chaitanya also seems to be unsure of the kind of projects he wants to sign after the horrible result of Custody. He has a web series, Dootha, coming up, whose shoot has been completed. But other than that, there are no reports about his next project.
All three Akkineni heroes are in a dilemma, because of which there is uncertainty around their upcoming projects.
