When a biopic on Mahanati Savithri is underway, it’s obvious that there will be characters representing legendary actors aka NT Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswararao. So, the makers thought of roping in Naga Chaitanya to play legendary ANR.
Seems, the Akkineni scion rejected the offer and the makers had decided to go digital route as they also have to rope in an actor for essaying the role of legendary ANR. So, when Chay isn’t coming on board, the makers want to use the digital route to show the legends on the screen.
By the way, Samantha is playing a journalist in this movie who will be narrating the story of the actress in her perspective. Keerthy Suresh will be seen as legendary Savithri in ‘Mahanati’. Yesteryear audiences will be delighted to see Savithri once again with ANR and NTR. It’s left to see if the makers will really go for digital versions or totally forsake the idea of showing them.
