The casting process of Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu remake of blockbuster Malayalam film Premam is turning out to be exactly opposite of the original.
The important aspect that made original click in such big was the casting of the film with lots of fresh previously unseen faces. It added great surprise element to the proceedings of the film. Already the remake has cast well known faces in important roles and it includes Shruti Haasan as well.
Now they have reportedly got another known face on board in the form of Regina Cassandra. She will be seen playing the important role in final act of the film. It was initially given to another actress but the makers developed second thoughts on her and replaced her with Regina. Let’s hope the change works for them.
