There are certainly some issues, especially regarding the subjects. But then, it is totally unfair to suspect or blame Chay.
Right from the start of his career, Chaitanya always looked like trying despite having some limitations. If we observe his career, there is also a pattern of flops and hits.

Also, the advantage he has is that Chaitanya has got goodwill and a sizeable market for himself. His flops may not attract the audience. But when he delivers a hit, the previous flops do not hurt his new film.
