Actor Naga Chaitanya has completed eight years journey in the industry on September 5th. He came with huge expectations, the terrific and confidence filled speech at the audio launch was responsible for it. But what followed in the career over the eight years course has been depressing the Akkineni fans.
Like any hero from a star family, the fans wouldn’t bother if they don’t see any spark. That wasn’t the case for fans with Naga Chaitanya. Also, the actor has given two successful films in his first three films which gave fans many hopes. It was that initial success that is cause for all the frustration of fans.
Chaitanya didn’t build on his success. He was lethargic and made some terrible choices. It put him on a downward slope. The same pattern continued whenever he has had success. Yuddham Sharanam is the biggest example that can be cited immediately. It is this random non-caring approach regarding the career that is the cause of worry.
On the other hand, Nani who debuted exactly a year before him, despite failure has shown growth. With right planning and zeal to succeed he in a better position than Chaitanya which wasn’t in anyone’s imagination initially. The fact that Nani’s next two films already have a good buzz going about them whereas Chaitanya has to generate interest film after film shows where they are after nearly a decade. The journey of Nani is impressive to the common moviegoer.
Here’s hoping post-marriage Naga Chaitanya develops some interest and chooses his movies carefully to build the stardom rather than just salvage it.
