Naga_ChaitanyaNaga Chaitanya has teamed up with director Venkat Prabhu for his next film, Custody. The makers unveiled a glimpse recently, which looks promising. It’s refreshing to see Naga Chaitanya getting into action mode and delivering punches and kicks at the villains.

Venkat Prabhu is one unpredictable director. He made his debut with the brilliant sports drama Chennai 600028 in 2007. Then he followed it with Saroja, which also became a success. He shot into the big league with blockbuster Mankatha. But after that, he delivered mediocre films like Mass, Goa, and Biriyani.

It took almost a decade for him to again come up with a blockbuster film like Maanadu with Simbu in 2021. Now he is directing Custody with Naga Chaitanya.

It would be interesting to see if Venkat Prabhu continues his brilliant streak with Custody or if he will go back to his mediocre self.

Custody stars an ensemble cast of Priyamani, Sarath Kumar, Vennela Kishore, and Sampath Raj. The highlight of the film is that Aravind Swamy is again playing the villain after his show-stealing act in Dhruva.

Let’s hope Custody takes the audience into its grip and Venkat Prabhu gives a memorable hit to Naga Chaitanya.
