N-Convention Centre puts Nag in land grabbing mess

The N-Convention Centre at Tammidi Kunta lake owned by actor Nagarjuna is likely to put him in land grabbing mess. Nag owns a high profile function hall near Hi-Tech city in Madhapur mostly rented for high profile events of politicians and the movie folks. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and Revenue department did a detailed land survey yesterday and concluded that nearly 3 acres of lake land has been grabbed by N-Convention center.

Both GHMC and Revenue department officials are now in the process of slapping notices to the management of N-Convention center. They have also stated that if the Convention center management comes forward to hand over the encroached land, there will not be any further action but if they don’t work towards rectifying their mistake, a land grabbing case will be filed against the actor and they would even demolish the unauthorized building, but a legal notice will be sent prior to taking any action, said GHMC officials.

GHMC officials reportedly stated that they have have got the instructions from KCR to demolish illegal constructions in Ayyappa Society, Madhapur, under which this Nag’s N-Convention centre too falls. We will have to wait and see what steps Nag will take to come out of this mess. According to the English daily DC, since Nag doesn’t have close connections with Telangana government he is relying on producer Dil Raju to negotiate with KCR and other ministers, hoping that his political connections would bail him out of this land issue.
