It rather doesn’t come as a surprise that one of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movies was stalled and that happens to be ‘Hero’. There had been rumors making rounds that the makers had completed 20% of the shooting but, they weren’t impressed with how the things have panned out.
Finally, Mythri Movie Makers had dumped the movie and that decision is directly proportional to the disappointment that the young hero’s recent release ‘Dear Comrade’ had given. The movie underperformed and was a disaster that wasn’t expected.
Coming to Vijay Deverakonda, dumping ‘Hero’ will be a nice thing for him as right from the start, the project didn’t excite his fans much, especially, the outdated title was a big spoiler for not only fans but also trade. Vijay has two interesting projects, anyway.
The one with director Kranthi Madhav would be the next to bankroll and then, would come the exciting combination with Puri Jagannadh. Anyway, ‘Hero’ seems to have been dumped for all the right reasons and one of them happens to be exceeding the market of the hero in terms of the movie’s budget.
