Malayalam adult actress Shakeela is a known face in Tollywood also. She acted in character roles in many popular films like Jayam, Nijam, Dhool, and Kobbari Matta.
After a long break, Shakeela marked her comeback through the Tamil reality show “Cooku With Comali” on Vijay TV. Her participation in the show garnered immense respect from fans, who affectionately address her as “Shakeela Amma.”
During an interview, she candidly discussed her past life and the challenges she encountered. Shakeela expressed, “There is a lot of misinformation about me. My Wikipedia page states that I own a luxurious flat and a BMW car, but these are far from reality. I still reside in a rented house.”
She also reflected on her past experiences and revealed how she generously gave all the earnings from her adult films to her sister.
Shakeela shared, “I used to earn Rs. 4 lakhs per day. Such was my popularity. However, my sister took all my money, leaving me with nothing for myself.”
Meanwhile, Shakeela is currently giving interviews on a popular YouTube channel and recently made headlines by discussing how Mollywood megastar Mammootty skillfully hindered the release of her movies.
She stated, “Despite being predominantly low-budget productions, my films posed a strong competition even to those featuring superstars. I learned that Malayalam actor Mammootty, who was not happy with this, made it challenging for my movies to see the light of day. In fact, it was one of the reasons that led me to stop acting in Malayalam cinema.”
A few months ago, Shakeela also grabbed attention when she participated in a protest alongside residents of a residential apartment in Chennai.
