Musical Chairs With Acharya Release DateThe way the release dates of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya are thrown around, one can’t help but wonder if a game of musical chairs is played. Many release dates have already come out, albeit unofficially.

The latest buzz on the Acharya release is that it will be arriving on November 4th. It is the big Diwali week. But, it also means a clash with Rajinikanth movie Annaatthe. Of course, it shouldn’t be much of a problem for the Telugu version, especially when it comes to the screens and other issues. The only thing that would have an impact on the final tally is the talk.

Coming to those uninformed about the previous release dates, it all started with October 13th at the start. It was later ruled out, and Sankranthi 2022 came into play. Yes, Acharya wants to hit the cinema on January 12th. It is still the most favoured date by the unit.

Once RRR made its move to Sankranthi 2022, Acharya makers started to look at alternatives. It is then that Christmas 2021 came out as a buzz. Until today, it was either Christmas or Sankranthi 2022. And now, Diwali 2021 has come into the picture.

The major issue with Acharya is the high distribution prices. It has been bought for record numbers. Sample this – Nizam alone Acharya needs to collect 40 Cr to break even. It is why the makers are forever in a dilemma. The ticket price in AP isn’t helping matters either.

Acharya comes with a fantastic combo. It has Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan together, and that too under Koratala Siva’s direction. We have to see when the makers come out with an official announcement and end the various speculations.
