Rahman gave plentifully of superb tunes to remember forever, but music lovers do ask for more for a reason.

He made his smashing debut with Maniratnam’s ‘Roja’ that won him the National Award for being the best music director of 1992. ‘Roja’ songs originally delivered in Tamil hit the right chord both with Bollywood and all the languages the movie was dubbed into.

Not one, Rahman continued his journey with Maniratnam with chartbuster music ruling the charts everytime they collaborated and thus, making AR Rahman the hottest music director in the country.
