The lengthy run-time of ‘Dear Comrade’ had been a point of discussion but it was thought to be in the best interests of the movie as an entirety. But, little did we expect that the makers would sacrifice a much-publicized song for the sake of the run-time.
The college canteen song from ‘Dear Comrade‘ became popular more for its visuals and it was a disappointment to see that the makers chose to remove the song from the theatrical release of the movie only because of the run-time.
Those who watched the visuals of the song would definitely miss the song in the final version of the movie. As Deverakonda said, the allar-chillar dance would have taken over the body when watched in the movie as a whole. But, the audiences missed it.
It’s a rarity that the makers choose to remove a song that was much publicized for attracting the youth. Vijay Deverakonda’s fans would be disappointed for sure as the star at the center was seen having fun, genuinely. Those things work for the fans, big time.
