The lengthy run-time of ‘Dear Comrade’ had been a point of discussion but it was thought to be in the best interests of the movie as an entirety. But, little did we expect that the makers would sacrifice a much-publicized song for the sake of the run-time.
The college canteen song from ‘Dear Comrade‘ became popular more for its visuals and it was a disappointment to see that the makers chose to remove the song from the theatrical release of the movie only because of the run-time.
Those who watched the visuals of the song would definitely miss the song in the final version of the movie. As Deverakonda said, the allar-chillar dance would have taken over the body when watched in the movie as a whole. But, the audiences missed it.
It’s a rarity that the makers choose to remove a song that was much publicized for attracting the youth. Vijay Deverakonda’s fans would be disappointed for sure as the star at the center was seen having fun, genuinely.
