We have a rare week coming up where there will be no notable releases, either straight or dubbed. Previously a couple of films were lined up, but they have been delayed, as of now.
Ideally, a scenario like this should be an advantage to incumbent films, but that is also not happening. Mr Majnu starring Akhil has fallen flat and is showing no signs of pick up. That leaves with the Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s F2 which is in the final stages of its run. It might get a little boost, but that would be minimal in the larger scheme of things. Still, it is the one that has a lot to gain as it can reach a few more milestones.
The way the release dates are scheduled at the moment February could turn out to be a real dull month. Let’s see if anyone of these spring’s a surprise as the audience will be craving for some fresh entertainment.
