Akhil Akkineni‘s Most Eligible Bachelor is slated for release on October 8 during Dasara festive season. Ahead of its theatrical release, the film has locked its OTT platform and a tentative release date is out.
OTT giant Netflix has bagged Most Eligible Bachelor digital rights. The film is expected to stream on the OTT platform after four weeks run at the ticket window making MEB stream on Netflix in November second week.
It is worth mentioning that Netflix’s last Telugu release was Nagarjuna’s Wild Dog. And now it is Akhil’s MEB. In fact, it was rumoured that the film will have a direct-to-OTT release, but the makers have time and again debunked the rumour.
The film stars Pooja Hedge and the posters and teaser have generated good buzz. The film holds crucial for Akhil as his last three films were disasters and with this, he is hoping to strike a blockbuster.
Currently, MEB makers are busy promoting the film. A new poster was unveiled which showed Akhil in seven getups which looks refreshing and a change from his previous films. Apart from MEB, Akhil will next be seen in Surender Reddy’s spy thriller, Agent.
