The role of Actor cum producer Mohan Babu in Samaikya Andhra movement few years ago is well known. Mohan Babu, who is also a former MP, also then launched a one day hunger strike at Sri Venkateshwara University Arts College in Tirupati in support of the United AP movement. Subsequently,and other pro-Telangana groups have stopped the screening of his son Manchu Vishnu’s film ‘Saleem’ in Telangana region.
However, the actor seem to have changed his mind after these many years. Speaking to a Newspaper on the occasion of completing 37 years in Tollywood, the actor said, he was moved with the suicides of 1000 people for Telangana state formation and hoped the Central Government will take a decision in the direction of fulfillment of their dream.
