Mohan Babu’s name is separable when it comes to any mention about the ace director, late Dasari Narayana Rao. His absence was conspicuous at the statue unveiling event of the veteran director. Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav unveiled the statue and several film dignitaries attended the event.
According to a report in the Deccan Chronicle, Mohan Babu was upset over two things. The first one is with regard to the material which was allegedly said to be used in the making of the statue. It’s just hearsay that mud and clay were used in the sculpting the statue of the revered personality.
The second reason, he was allegedly upset for being ignored and not being invited for the statue unveiling event. However, producer C. Kalyan was quick to respond that the statue wasn’t made out of mud and clay but with bronze and he was the one who paid for the statue. They tried to contact Mohan Babu for the event but was informed that he was out of the station.
