obama-narendra-modi

BJP’s Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi in all probability will be the next prime minister of India. Positive wave is blowing in favour of Modi every where be it election trends or Exit poll surveys. The immediate success of Modi after winning the coveted Prime Minister post is that he is going to tame World’s Big Brother, the United States. Earlier Modi was denied a US visa alleging that he is instrumental in communal disturbances in Gujarat.

He was denied a US visa in 2005 under the terms of a 1998 US law which bars entry to foreigners who have committed “particularly severe violations of religious freedom.” But United States and India are strategic partners in several fronts. It is customary for the Super Power to congratulate the Prime Minister of India and extend his support for him in mutual benefit. And US had to give him a red carpet welcome too. So, it will be the first immediate success of Modi as soon as he gets in to power. Analysts say, Obama should reach out to Modi if he becomes PM to congratulate India’s new leader.
