Its Modi Modi and Modi every where in India now after his dream run victory in just concluded general elections. In fact the media is all about Modi since the election notification is out. Like they say you love him or hate but you can not ignore him. Members of the research cell and faculty members of Centre of Media Studies of the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) of Allahabad University has revealed that Modi is the darling of cartoonists across the nation.
The team studied cartoons published in five major Hindi and four English dailies of the country and came to this conclusion. They say he even beat old time favourite political cartoon character of Lalu Prasad Yadav. They even concluded that cartoons of Arvind Kejriwal, Manmohan Singh, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Rajnath Singh, Advani etc were also popular but at least 50% less than that of the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate.
