Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej had releases in 2018 with the star heroes having a release each and the young heroes with a couple of releases. Among the stars, while Ram Charan walked away proudly with a loud hit in ‘Rangasthalam’, Allu Arjun’s much hyped movie ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ was a disaster.
Coming to the young heroes, Varun Tej had a mixed experience with ‘Tholi Prema’ turning out to be a decent hit and ‘Antariksham’ is still on the walls though not a hit movie. But, he has tried something new and different and hence, one can let him pass. His next lineup is also decent and he gave an indication that he would never give up on trying something new.
Sai Dhram Tej didn’t have a hit in 2017. 2018 didn’t turn out to be different either. He had two releases and both of them were total disappointments for the actor who has been in a low phase since more than half-a-dozen movies. Both the movies that came this year, left him the worst memories and made slide down the ladder, further.
It was Ram Charan who ran away with a blockbuster and Varun having a decent hit and a pass because he has been choosing different subjects.
