Despite the closure of theaters in the North East due to storm, Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ Mirchi is delivering tremendous performance in USA. It has collected 400$ in the first 3 days of its release. If not for the storm, Prabhas would have joined the elite club of Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan who attained the half million dollar mark in the first 3 days of release. The overseas distributors are expecting the good work to carry on despite the not so good reviews. Similar performance is reflected in domestic market too. Trade analysts are expecting the movie to register Prabhas’ biggest figure for the first week.
Mirchi is the debut directorial movie of famous writer Koratala Shiva and produced by Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati jointly on the banner of UV Creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer of the movie. This film also stars Brahmanandam, Satyaraj, Aditya menon and Satyam Rajesh in other important roles.
