The grand event of ‘Memu Saitham’ took momentum on Sunday morning 10 am. With a welcome and inspirational song from the musician band comprising singers and composers , the programme started on a motivational note. Senior singer, the nightingale of South film music Smt. Susheela wished the cine industry for the spirit, followed by Dasari’s inspirational speech on the history of Telugu cine field coming out in open to help in various occasions of need.
Upto this part and a couple of speeches after that, the event was rolling on serious note. Suddenly Balakrishna came on to the stage to croon for a song from his film ‘Legend’. The lyrics go like this…’Nee kanti choopullo’. Balayya Babu’s energetic performance while singing reminded one of star music composer Devi Sri Prasad who is adept at making the audience enjoy the song with his song and dance equally.
Balakrishna was seen dancing and teasing his co-singer Koushalya while singing the song. It was a rockstar performance both song and dance mixed with performance. All through one can see his mannerisms while flipping the mike like Rajni’s style and romantically holding the co-singer and giving a feel of watching a real scene from movie rather than singing a song. Wow!
