Director Puri Jagannadh is back after Paisa Vasool. This time he is introducing (as an adult) his son Aakash (Andhra Pori fame) as the hero. The film is Mehbooba, and it stars a newcomer Neha Shetty in the female lead.
Right from the first poster, announcing the title, Mehbooba looked something different from Puri Jaganandh. Well, watching the trailer, the difference can be felt. The visuals, although repetitive, look good and the music throughout is brilliant. What is a little dampener is the dialogues. Puri Jagannadh is known for his “dialogues” as much as the attitude of the characters. The latter is visible through characters, but the former is found missing, and hence the lack of resounding impact.
Check out the trailer below. Dil Raju has acquired Mehbooba’s theatrical rights. The movie will hit the screens worldwide on May 11th. Sandeep Chowta, the musician behind Super and Bijjigadu, is working on Mehbooba as well.
