Arjun Reddy remake Varma’s teaser and first look both were not received well for the obvious comparison with the cult original. Not that the remake is a disaster, but couldn’t match the ace attitude of Vijay Deverakonda’s flavor in the film. Well, Dhruv couldn’t impress much and how about the heroine?
Megha Chowdary is seen as an apt traditional Tamil girl in the teaser, but actually, she looks quite different in the original. The actress made an impressive appearance at the Teaser launch and one couldn’t take her eyes off her. Like one called the film a self-destructive attempt for Vikram Dhruv, the film also has hidden the actual Megha Chowdary in there.
Well, in Telugu, Shalini Pandey played the female lead but couldn’t make much out of the blockbuster, Deverakonda was the biggest beneficiary of the film. Now, first of all, Varma doesn’t look like to give much to the hero Dhruv and to do any favor for the heroine is only a dream.
